About Conceptual Health

Built from real pain by the people who lived it.

We exist to remove the ability to lie about integrity — and to make trust something you can verify yourself, live, instead of something you are asked to take on faith.

For decades the regulated world ran on a promise: trust us, we're compliant. The two of us spent our careers carrying that promise — and watching it fail the people it was supposed to protect. Conceptual Health is the standard we wished had existed: accountability that is built in by construction, and proof anyone can recompute in their own browser. Trust becomes math.

Who built the standard

Two careers inside the regulated world — and the standard that came out of them.

The standard wasn't designed in the abstract. It was built by a married pair of founders who spent decades inside government — one on the clinical front line, one carrying the security and compliance burden — and who built the fix for a system they knew first-hand was broken.

ML

Maria R. Lahti, MD

Co-founder · Physician

Retired O-6 cardiologist · 27-year government physician.

27 years as a government physician. Brought the clinical ground-truth and the duty-of-care discipline the standard is anchored in.

RL

Raymond M. Lahti

Co-founder · Information Security Manager · HIPAA Security Officer

~30-year government career · builder.

30 years in government as an information security manager and HIPAA security officer. Carried the compliance and integrity burden the standard is designed to remove.

Why this combination is the moat

The people who lived the broken system — and then built the fix.

Institutions don't accept a new standard on a slide. They accept it when the people behind it have stood where they stand. This pair has: clinical ground-truth on one side, the security and compliance burden carried first-hand on the other — and the hands to build it.

Clinical ground-truth

Maria — 27 years of duty of care.

A government physician knows what a record has to mean when a life depends on it. The standard is anchored in that duty-of-care discipline, not in marketing — accountability that holds up at the bedside, not just in a binder.

The compliance burden, first-hand

Ray — 30 years carrying it, then a builder.

Three decades as an information security manager and HIPAA security officer means living the burden the old way imposes — and being a builder who can replace it. The standard is designed to remove exactly the burden he carried.

The combination is the uncopyable part. Clinical ground-truth and the security-and-compliance burden, carried first-hand, by people with the hands to build the fix. You can copy a feature. You cannot copy two careers spent inside the regulated world the standard now serves. That is the moat — and it is why institutions accept it.

What we are building

We set the standard — and we prove it live.

Conceptual Health is the standard for accountability across finance, medical, government, corporate, law, insurance, education, pharma, energy, and aerospace — not because someone certified us, but because integrity is built in and you can verify it yourself, live, in your own browser. We don't ask for an annual opinion to stand in for the truth. We prove our own integrity continuously, with real numbers and a public verifier anyone can run.

This is the commitment behind the work, and behind both founders' names: engineered for integrity, not certified by someone else's say-so. The record is an append-only chain; the measure is one formula anyone can recompute. "Integrity In All We Do℠."
